The Snug is an easy to miss gem. This place is great. One side of the building is a bar and the other side is the legion hall. The bar is pretty cool looking. The Snug also has a self serve salad bar. If a salad bar is not your thing, they have plenty of other great options. I ordered the Wheelhouse Burger. It’s a little pricy, but that’s because the patty is 1/2 ground beef and 1/2 ground bacon. Yes, you read that right, bacon. Not only is the patty made with bacon, bacon slices are added to the burger. This is one greasy but very delicious burger. I highly recommend it if you’re planning on visiting a physician soon or like to live fast. The burger itself is just huge. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve had. I also had the tater tots and tried the finger steaks, both very good. I highly recommend The Snug.

The Snug is a hidden Gem ! Located in the very small town of Eden Idaho. This very cutely decorated bar is located in the old American Legion building that is over 100 years old, offering alcoholic drinks, games, ghosts , (" yes I said ghost") and home cooking, and don't forget the buffet!!!!! The buffet was the reason for my visit and my visit was rewarded by one of the best home cooked buffets I have experienced that sprawled over 7 stations of food . Not just ordinary food but food made with real butter, heavy cream, and an abundance of quality ingredients. When advertised the Snug will have a prime rib and seafood buffet, such as Valentine's Day and other special occasions, offering crab, clams , oysters, shrimp and prime rib and many other choices costing 45 a person drink not included. During the winter months they offer a Sunday brunch 8 for kids 9 and under and 20 for everyone else. The buffet offers breakfast favorites fresh berries meats and shrimp, one of the stars of the buffet is the desserts ! A very sweet waitress and in house baker makes each and every dessert from scratch using her family's old time passed down recipes and modern elegant displays of her creativity, the desserts are beautifully crafted adorned with careful detail, these rich buttery desserts will make you wish you could stay all day and keep eating. Now we can talk about the staff! There is a small community of employees that all seem to have a common attribute and that is kindness, they treat you like they have been serving you for years , they can be packed to the gills and still attend to you like you are the only one there, your empty plates don't remain on the table for more than 3min. And you are checked on frequently and they pay close attention to the needs of your children as well. I gave the highly recommended Snug a 5star on everything, because it is a family friendly old-time cooking, clean comfortable extremely welcoming establishment. The Snug offers food throughout the week in addition to the buffet, is handicap accessible and is a 20 min. Drive from Twinfalls and Burley , and is near Wilson Lake.

Good food in the middle of well, honestly, nowhere. We took a 12 mile detour to check ir out and it's a cute little dive with a door that makes you wonder if you should open it. Long bar, lots of fun bar games on one side and a nice warm restaurant on the other. The Arnold Palmer was great! The salad bar fresh with lots of variety. The Cranky crank. Buffalo chicken wrap was huge and quite tasty. Enjoy the diversion on a long drive from Jackson, WY to Bend, OR. Service was efficient and staff warm & friendly.
